Lansing Rivers and River Trail Cleanup. It is a community-wide celebration. 

We have much to celebrate. Because of the support and efforts of local business, industry, schools, churches, clubs, government, and passionate individuals, Lansing area rivers and river trail have never looked so good.

If you can’t make Friday, September 22, between 2:30 - 7:30 PM, no worries. We have set aside Wednesday and Thursday for volunteer activities. If September 20-22 is not convenient, not a problem. We work with small-to-large groups all year long. 

River and river trail stewardship makes for a great team building event and great way to give back to the community.

Event Activities

- For all our volunteers, and for those who wish to stop by and give thanks, at our Lansing Rotary Park event headquarters Moosejaw will be providing drinks, snacks, hot dogs, s'mores, hammocks, and games. 

- For those who would like to take in a downtown Lansing river experience first-hand, we will be providing MWS EcoTours in official Great Lakes Watercraft inflatable catamarans and extra canoes will be on hand too.

- Because it is Hispanic Heritage Month, there will be lively music and salsa dancing at the open patio area behind Lansing Shuffle. Inside Lansing Shuffle there are a number of restaurants and a popular bar to enjoy.
